CARAMEL APPLE CRISP ( Delicious!)

10 cups apples. cored, peeled and sliced. (I use Ambrosia Apples)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 white sugar
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup dulce de leche spread
2 cups quick cooking oats
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups brown sugar1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup melted butter

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Place the sliced apples in a large bowl
Add the 1/2 cup brown and white sugar, 1 tbsp flour, cinnamon and nutmeg and water to the apples.
Mix together until the apples are evenly coated and everything is mixed together
Pour the apple mixture into a 9×13 pan and spread it across the bottom
In the microwave, warm up the dulce de leche
Once soft, drizzle this over the apples
In another bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and melted butter
Using a spatula, mix until all the ingredients are combine. Make sure to break up the chunks of brown sugar.
Evenly sprinkle the crumble mixture over the apples.
Bake at 350 F for about 45 minutes
